CRANE BEACH, MASSACHUSETTS |
Crane Beach, which is geared towards both recreation and conservation, is a dream come true for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. With the white sands of this breathtaking beach stretching on for miles, Crane Beach is arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in all of New England. In addition to being an ideal spot for swimming, the beach also provides visitors with picnic areas and hiking trails. Meanwhile, the focus on conservation has allowed Crane Beach to provide a safe habitat for a variety of rare plants and wildlife, including the insect-eating sundew plant and the piping plover bird. Between the months of October and March, both dog walking and horseback riding are permitted along the beachfront. During in-season Crane Beach is served by lifeguards, an information kiosk, and a snack shack.
