Granby provides visitors with a quaint and friendly atmosphere that is perfect for those who seek an escape from the stresses of daily life. History buffs can delve deeper into the town's rich history by visiting the Butler-McCook Homestead, Ctcse, the Harriet Beecher House, and the Stowe Center, as well as the Old New-Gate Prison & Copper Mine -- noted as the first copper mine in Connecticut, which also served as a prison between 1773-1827. Meanwhile, the area also offers various opportunities for shopping, dining, bowling, golfing, and live entertainment. At the end of the day make your way back to the warm hospitality and comforts of home provided by your Granby bed and breakfast or Granby inn.
