Vermont Hancock Bed and Breakfast & Hancock Inn Guide

HANCOCK

Hancock, a small town in Addison County, Vermont, had a population of a 382 in the 2000 US census. Hancock lodging promises a relaxed and quiet visit as you stay at one of the Hancock bed and breakfasts or Hancock inns. Visitors will find this place to be a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern city life -- a town set in the famously stunning Vermont countryside. Fall is a particularly good time to stay at Hancock inns or Hancock bed and breakfasts, for that is a time when the amazing gold and russet autumn colors of Vermont are in full display, a spectacle that is renowned throughout the nation. Hancock lodging can also make for an excellent gateway to some of Vermont's best ski trails and resorts. There are a number of fine Alpine and Nordic ski areas within less than an hour's drive from most Hancock inns. Mad River Glen in Waitesfield is about 40 minutes, while Sugarbush in Warren is even closer, only 30 minutes north. Killington, to the south, is less than an hour's drive away. Other winter fun resorts nearby include the Middlebury College Snow Bowl, Blueberry Lake, Ole's Cross Country Ski Center, Rikert Touring Center at Middlebury College, and Clearwater Sports in Waitesfield. After enjoying a full day of sightseeing and outdoor activities, make your way back to your cozy Hancock bed and breakfast or comfy Hancock inn.
